Birthday card for Nate

I have been wanting to make a card with this awesome digi stamp from Redonkulous Designs and since I needed a card for my great nephew's birthday lunch today and he plays soccer it was a perfect fit.  I used his team colors. I am planning to use this digi to make some OWH cards as well.  They also have  a cute girl soccer digi I am going to have to buy.

Scrappy Card

Yesterday I posted a card to OWH facebook and I got several requests for the measurements.  Here is a link to the original card I pinned on Pinterest

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2232518

Here are versions of the card that I made followed by the measurements for the card.
This card is great for using up all those little scraps, especially those left when you are working
on a 6X6 paper pad challenge.

Here is the first one I did a couple of months ago.
Here is the one I posted yesterday.

And finally here is one I did tonight.
Here are the measurements:

Cut A2 background 5 1/2 X 4 1/4
and inner layer 5 3/8 X 4 1/8
Cut 10 patterned squares 1 1/8" and round two opposing corners
Cut 10 Solid 1 1/4" squares and round tow opposing corners
For the sentiment cut 1 1/8 X 2 1/2 round opposing corners
Sentiment layer 1 1/4 by 2 5/8
I used the 1/2 corner chomper to round
Glue patterned pieces to layer and sentiment to layer
as well as background
Place petals on card
I trimmed it with brads on the sentiment

Here is my card tonight

Here is another similar card originally pinned from

My new Copic Storage Box

I went to the Copic certification classes about a month ago. A lady at the class had a fabulous copic storage box. I got the info on where she got it and I ordered one. A local couple makes them. It holds about 350 markers. (I wish I had them all to fill it up!) Here are some pictures of the outside and inside. The box is from Target. The grid is from Lowe's. It is nailed to some wood to make it stay in place. It's similar to those that people make in that plastic box, but this one is Pretty!!

Here is the top of the box....

For a Darling little girl

Here is a card I made for OWH. I thought a hero would like to send this card home to thier little girl. The stamp is from the Stamps of Life. I just love their stamps. The patterned paper is from DCWV.

The rest of the Mother's Days Cards

Here are the other cards that I made from the same paper pad and same sketch, plus a couple others. I thought they turned out nice.  (sorry the picture is not very good)

Mother's Day Card

Mother's Day card for OWH. I made this one yesterday and made 11 more tonight from a 6X6 paper pad by MME called Collectable "Memorable". I chose this pad because it had a lot of pinks for Mother's Day cards. I used sketch #12. I will post the rest later
